How do we ensure that you gain insight into the unknown?  

As you build a more realistic world model the complexity increases. With two infrastructure systems you have two possible interactions, with three the number of combinations increases to six, and so on. What is unique about our simulation platform is that it can calculate multiple layers of infrastructure and their interactions simultaneously, and in that way calculate and visualize  the compounded impact of infrastructure disruptions. We show the cascading effects over time, resulting in a 4D simulation, that enables you to explore the future in various possible scenarios. When you need a comprehensive view over multiple infrastructures, our platform offers unique value.

Our simulation also allows to look at the extremes of what is possible. For many what-if scenarios historical data does not provide you with the relevant data. SIM-CI can calculate the possibilities of non-existent scenarios in innumerable variations to provide you with your own reference set for extreme or improbable events. By recording all the outcomes, it is possible to rank the results, assign a probability and show a spread that can be used to support your decision for a resilient future.

How we do it

We work with you to determine the scope (area, infrastructure, scenarios, impact indicators).

SIM-CI selects the required data. This can be (a combination of) public data, purchased data or your own data.
SIM-CI can also generate certain data itself using Artificial Intelligence.

We build a digital copy of the area required by you: The Digital Twin.

We thereby mark the locations that you are particularly interested in. These might be hospitals, public transport, schools, shopping centers, etc.

All the information is entered to the desired accuracy and interacts digitally in exactly the same way as in reality.

We calculate all the required attractions between the different infrastructures over the same period.

We simulate disruptions of these infrastructures (loss of power, rainfall, flooding, etc.)

The simulation platform calculates the simulations for the required number of times and stores the outcomes.

This provides you with a synthetic dataset that can be used for follow-up analyses.

Applying stochastic/statistical calculation methods to these outcomes can provide fresh insights.

We show these insights in our 3D visualization or in your choice of report formats or tools.
